SALÓN CÓMIC GIJÓN / COMIC CONVENTION GIJON

Para todos aquellos a los que les guste el dibujo, la ilustración, escribir guiones o el diseño gráfico, os recomiendo acercaros a Gijón (Asturias) del 2 al 5 de octubre pues tendrá lugar el "XXXVII Salón del Cómic del Principado de Asturias" organizado por el equipo de El Wendigo en el Centro Cultural Antiguo Instituto.

Este es el cartel que lo presenta, con un personaje de Ortiz en la playa de Gijón con marea baja y la iglesia de fondo.

Este año entre los autores invitados están: el dibujante José Ortiz (de TEX, entre otras obras), el diseñador Mariscal (Los Garriguis, el Cobi y un larguísimos etcétera), y el guionista Jan Strnad (que hace poco firmaba «Ragemoor» dibujado por el gran Corben) y el dibujante italiano
Ivo Milazzo (cuyo arte acompañaba los guiones de Berardi en Ken Parker), también Pau Rodríguez, Neto, Marcos de las Heras, Suso y algunos más.

Durante la clausura, que será el sábado 5, se otorgarán los Premios Haxtur. Si no los conocéis aquí se pueden consultar los de otros años. Tanto ganadores como finalistas son obras que vale la pena tener en casa.

También habrá una exposición sobre la «Crónica de Leodegundo», un cómic histórico sobre España y Europa, obra de Gaspar Meana. Es una obra impresionante tanto por cantidad (en este primer volumen son 320 páginas y solo es el primero) como por calidad, con gran rigor en arquitecturas y lugares e interesante en las aventuras y desventuras de los personajes. Si os interesa, este año la Edicions UIB (la Universidad de les Illes Balears) ha editado en español el primer volumen que agrupa los cinco primeros libros en el Cantar de Liuva (711-772 D.C.).
